TIME LINE FOR TRI-DAC 2013

November 1- January 14: Nominations of students for Tri-DAC are accepted from both teachers and parents.

November 1: Districts mail nomination information to art teachers and school administrators.

January 14: Deadline for nominations to District Coordinators

January 21: Mail applications to nominees.
Mail applications to RETURNEES.

February 4: All applications (nominees and returnees) must be received by districts--- All fees and applications back from eligible returning students (if installments, first one due from Returnees).

February 15: Mail time / place and requirements for auditions to students NOTE: RETURNING STUDENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED UP TO MARCH 1. After the 1st , they will be added to the bottom of the alternate’s list.

March 1: Creative Writing Portfolio due to Director.

March 2: AUDITIONS- Band , Vocal, Strings, Dance and Visual Art students at Richland Northeast.

March 9: AUDITIONS- Creative Writing, Theatre, and Visual Art students at Richland Northeast.

March 18: Mail letters of acceptance, alternate and rejection.

April 1: Deadline to receive acceptance and fees from new students. (Final installment for returning students / first payment for new students)

April 1: Contact qualifying alternates

April 29: Parent Orientation in Richland District Two Auditorium at 6:30 pm.

May 6: ALL FEES SHOULD BE PAID!

May 13: Mail orientation packet to parents/students.

July 1-20: Summer Program hosted by the Palmetto Center for the Arts at Richland Northeast High School

July 4-5: HOLIDAYS

July 19: SHOWCASE FESTIVAL – Music & Creative Writing Areas at Lexington One Performing Arts Center.

July 20: SHOWCASE FESTIVAL –Theatre, Dance and Visual Art at Richland School District Two Auditorium.
