Lindsay Green McManus - received her MA in American literature at the University of South Carolina in August 2002, and will graduate with her Ph.D. in Composition and Rhetoric in the spring of 2007, at the University of South Carolina. Lindsay actively teaches Composition, Advanced Composition, and Business Writing at USC where she has been nominated for several prestigious awards in teaching excellence. Lindsay has performed with several dance companies in the past 18 years and is presently a member of The Power Company in Columbia. Lindsay has also choreographed several productions involving both dance and poetry around Columbia. For the last five years, Lindsay has been teaching poetry to young adults as an instructor and co-director of Split P Soup. She has been an instructor of poetry writing at Tri-DAC since 2002. In addition to being a student, teacher, and dancer, Lindsay also writes poetry. Most recently, her poetry will appear in the Southern Poetry Anthology.
