Karen O. Mixon - has a Bachelor of Arts degree and an MA in Art Education from USC. She has been teaching for 30 years and is the Chair Person of the Fine Arts Department at Airport High School. Additional studies include summer workshops in North Carolina at Highwater Clay. She also exhibits handmade clay and stained glass pieces at local crafts shows
