Donna Wilson - Director, earned an MFA in Directing and an MAT in Theatre Arts from USC and is very active in school, community and children’s theatre. She was named the Outstanding Theatre Educator for the year 2000 by the SC Theatre Association. Donna has been involved in several state arts initiatives and in that capacity has served as a theatre consultant and artist for numerous schools and school districts and as adjudicator and clinician for the SC Department of Education. She is a graduate of the Curriculum Leadership Institute for the Arts and Arts Assessment I and II and serves as Director of the Palmetto Center for the Arts at Richland Northeast High School. Her Richland Northeast Theatre program was selected for the fourth time to represent the United States at the 2007 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the world’s largest celebration of the arts held annually in Edinburgh, Scotland. Their previous performances at the festival were in 1998, 2002, and 2004. Donna received her National Board Teacher Certification as an early adolescent generalist in 2000 and was the 2001-2002 Richland Northeast High School Teacher of the Year and a District Honor Roll Teacher
